Kreer

Kreer is operated by Kreer LLC, a limited liability company formed under the laws of the State of California, United States ("Kreer LLC," "the Company," or "we"). Any reference to "Kreer" in this document refers to Kreer LLC as the contracting party. By booking and paying for any Kreer service, you accept these terms in full. Please read this document before completing your purchase. If you have questions, email us at hola@kreer.app.

1. The service

Kreer is the global platform for expertise where clients book 1-on-1 advisory sessions with independent experts (hiring managers, founders, executives, and industry specialists, among others) who have already achieved what the client is looking to achieve. Any professional can apply to offer sessions on Kreer; once approved, each expert publishes their own profile and sets the format, length, and price of their sessions.

Kreer runs a basic identity check on each expert during the application process, but does not supervise, edit, or guarantee the specific content or methodology any expert delivers during their sessions. See Section 6 for the full detail on the platform's role and the limits of its liability.

Sessions are booked and paid for directly through Kreer and take place via video call through the platform.

2. Booking and payment process

3. Money-back guarantee

If the expert doesn't show up for the session, without prior notice, no further justification needed. Report it to hola@kreer.app within 7 days of the session and we'll process your full refund right away.

If you feel the session wasn't worth it:

The guarantee applies only to clients who attended the full session. After 7 days from the session, dissatisfaction refund requests are no longer processed.

Who covers the refund? When approved, we return the full payment, including Kreer's commission, which we waive on that sale. The cost is borne by the expert: it's deducted from their Stripe funds. The one exception is Stripe's processing fee (~2.9% + $0.30), which isn't recovered once charged: that cost is already spent, regardless of the reason for the refund.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

5. Client responsibilities

To get the most out of the session, the client is responsible for:

6. Platform role and limitation of liability

Kreer operates as an intermediary platform: it facilitates discovery, booking, and payment for 1-on-1 sessions between clients and independent experts. This is Kreer's standard operating model, not an exception to some other model. Kreer does not itself provide the consulting or advisory services offered on the platform.

Experts operating on Kreer do so as independent contractors: they are not employees, representatives, or agents of Kreer under any circumstance. Kreer runs a basic identity check on each expert before approving their profile, but does not review, approve, or guarantee the content, methodology, or quality of the advice any expert gives during their sessions. Each expert is solely responsible for the content, quality, and consequences of the advice they give.

As the platform operator, Kreer retains a service commission from the amount paid for each session, deducted from the expert's funds, in exchange for facilitating discovery, booking, payment collection, and dispute resolution.

Kreer's services are consultative and educational in nature. Results depend on multiple factors outside our control, including the client's execution, market conditions, and changes specific to the industry or platform relevant to the session. Kreer does not guarantee specific business outcomes, such as sales increases, cost reductions, or concrete performance metrics. The money-back guarantee (Section 3) covers satisfaction with the session, not future results.

In no case will Kreer's total liability to a client, for any claim related to a session or to an expert's conduct, exceed the amount actually paid for that session.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kreer, its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the platform, (b) your violation of these terms, (c) your conduct during a session or in any interaction with another user, or (d) any content, information, or material you provide through the platform. This obligation applies to clients and experts alike, in proportion to each party's own conduct.

No warranties. The platform, and any content or materials made available through it, are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Kreer does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any expert's advice will meet your particular needs or expectations. This disclaimer applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and does not limit any warranty or right that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.

Exclusion of indirect damages. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Kreer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the platform or any session booked through it, even if Kreer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This exclusion applies in addition to, and does not replace, the liability cap described above.

Assumption of risk. Kreer connects clients with independent experts they would not otherwise know. Before allowing an expert to accept sessions, Kreer verifies the expert's identity and reviews the credentials the expert submits, but does not evaluate, supervise, or vouch for the substance of the advice given during a session. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether a given expert, and the advice they provide, is right for you, and for exercising your own judgment before acting on it. You acknowledge that interacting with another user, including in any video session facilitated through the platform, involves inherent risk, and you assume that risk voluntarily.

Minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if greater, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, to use Kreer or book a session. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Force majeure. Kreer is not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including outages or failures of third-party providers (such as video, payment, or hosting infrastructure), internet or telecommunications failures, or events of force majeure.

Severability. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Non-circumvention. You agree not to circumvent Kreer's platform to avoid its commission by conducting or paying for a session, outside the platform, with an expert you were introduced to through Kreer, for 12 months after that introduction.

7. Intellectual property

The content an expert shares during a session (methodologies, frameworks, materials, templates, prompts, and any session recording if Kreer ever enables that feature in the future) belongs to the expert who created it, not to Kreer. By booking a session, the corresponding expert grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that content for your own benefit, within the context it was shared for. This license does not include the right to redistribute, resell, publish, or make commercial use of that content without the creating expert's written authorization.

The Kreer brand, the platform's design and functionality, and any methodology or material Kreer publishes under its own name (distinct from any expert's session content) belong to Kreer and are not covered by the license above.

The specific intellectual-property terms governing the relationship between Kreer and each expert, including what license each expert grants Kreer to operate the platform, are defined in the Kreer Expert Agreement, which each expert accepts when applying and being approved.

8. Confidentiality

All information shared by the client during sessions (account data, metrics, business strategies) is treated with strict confidentiality and is not disclosed to third parties without explicit consent.

9. Direct messaging between users

Users with an accepted connection on Kreer (whether because they accepted a free connection request, or because they accepted a paid contact request under Section 10) can message each other directly, at no additional cost, through the platform's messaging feature. This feature is distinct from the paid contact described in Section 10: direct messaging becomes available once an accepted connection exists between both users, while paid contact is the mechanism for messaging someone you don't have that connection with yet.

Acceptable use. When using direct messaging between users, you may not:

Kreer does not proactively monitor the content of these conversations, but may restrict or suspend messaging access, or the full account, of any user who violates the above, at its discretion.

Reporting abusive behavior. If another user violates the above, you can report them directly from the conversation. Kreer reviews every report case by case and may take whatever action it considers appropriate, including warning, restricting, or suspending the reported account. Reporting a case doesn't guarantee a specific outcome or resolution timeline.

The limitation of liability, indemnification, and assumption of risk described in Section 6 apply equally to direct messaging, just as they do to any other user interaction facilitated by the platform.

10. Paid contact between users

Beyond booking sessions with experts, any Kreer user can enable "paid contact" on their profile: it lets another user message them directly without an existing relationship, in exchange for a fee the recipient themselves sets, between $5 and $40 USD. This feature is optional: each user decides whether to turn it on. The recipient reviews every request and decides whether to accept it before any amount is charged to the sender's card.

If the recipient accepts but doesn't respond. If the recipient accepts your request but sends you no message within 48 hours of accepting, the charge does not become a final payment to the recipient: instead, the corresponding amount is credited to your Kreer account balance, to use on a future paid-contact request. This is an account credit, not a refund to your card or original payment method. The credit can only be used within Kreer: it isn't transferable to another account or redeemable for cash.

Kreer's commission on this feature. On every paid contact request the recipient accepts and responds to within the window above, Kreer retains a commission, deducted from the funds the recipient receives: whichever is greater between 14% of the amount paid plus Stripe's processing fee, or a flat minimum of $1.50 USD. This minimum exists because, on lower-value requests within the $5-$40 range, a pure percentage would leave too thin a margin against the fixed cost of processing the payment.

Paying the contact recipient. Sending and paying for a paid contact request has no country restriction: anyone, anywhere, can do it. The restriction applies only to whoever receives the payment: to enable paid contact on your profile as a recipient, your country needs to be within the coverage where Stripe can process your payout directly. Within that coverage, Kreer never holds your funds: Stripe custodies them and transfers them directly to your account, Kreer only retains the commission described above. If your country is outside that coverage, you can't enable paid contact as a recipient: for now, Kreer doesn't offer an alternative payment mechanism outside Stripe for this feature.

The money-back guarantee described in Section 3 applies to sessions booked with an expert, not to the paid contact described in this section: the equivalent protection for paid contact is specifically the no-response account credit described above. The rest of the platform role, assumption of risk, and limitation of liability described in Section 6 apply equally to paid contact.

11. Kreer Pro membership

Kreer Pro is an optional, recurring paid membership for seekers (clients), with extra in-platform benefits such as a higher certification-request limit and automatic translation of your public profile into the other language (Spanish/English). The first time you save your seeker profile, your account automatically receives a 14-day free trial of Kreer Pro's benefits, with no payment method required to start it.

What happens when the trial ends. When the 14-day trial ends, your account automatically moves to Kreer's free plan (with reduced certification-request limits) unless you activate a paid Kreer Pro subscription before that date. The trial does not convert into an automatic charge: without an active subscription, you're never billed anything.

Subscription, billing, and renewal. If you activate Kreer Pro, payment is processed through Stripe and the current price is shown before you confirm your subscription. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel it.

How to cancel. You can cancel your Kreer Pro subscription at any time, without deleting your account or profile, from the "Manage my subscription" button in your Kreer dashboard. That button takes you to Stripe's subscription management portal, where you can cancel or update your payment method directly. Unless stated otherwise at the time of cancellation, your access to Kreer Pro's benefits continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

What happens to your Pro data if your subscription ends. If your profile already has an automatically translated version (generated while Kreer Pro was active), that version stays visible on your public profile, but stops updating automatically on each edit until you reactivate Kreer Pro.

12. Organization accounts and hiring

Companies, universities, and other organizations can create an organization account on Kreer to post job openings, review applications, coordinate interviews, and approve or certify their members' or employees' affiliation on the platform. Whoever registers and verifies an organization account, and anyone else that account authorizes as an additional admin, represents that they have the authority to act on behalf of that organization and to bind it to these terms.

Responsibility for posted content. The organization is solely responsible for the content it posts under its account (job openings, job descriptions, certifications it approves for its own members or employees, and any communication sent through the platform), including that this content is truthful and complies with the labor and data-protection law that applies to it. Kreer does not review or guarantee the accuracy of posted job openings or of certifications an organization approves for its own members.

Candidate and member data. By using Kreer for hiring or certification processes, the organization accesses candidates' and members' personal information (applications, contact details, interview responses) that the platform makes available to it. The organization agrees to use that information only for the hiring or certification purpose it was shared for, and to meet its own data-protection obligations as the party responsible for that information once it receives it, separately from Kreer's own obligations as a platform described in our Privacy Policy.

Kreer's role in the hiring process. Kreer facilitates discovery, messaging, and interview coordination between organizations and candidates, but does not take part in the hiring decision, is not an employer or representative of either party, and does not guarantee that a posted opening results in an actual offer or hire. The limitation-of-liability and "as is" provisions of Section 6 of these terms apply equally to activity in the hiring module.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, United States, and, to the extent applicable, US federal law, without giving effect to their conflict-of-laws principles.

For refund requests, follow the process described in Section 3, Kreer's team reviews every case directly. For any other dispute related to the service, write to us first at hola@kreer.app so we can try to resolve it directly.

Optional, non-binding mediation. If direct contact doesn't resolve the dispute within a reasonable time, either party may propose non-binding mediation with a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing the legal remedies described below. Mediation isn't mandatory: either party may decline it and proceed directly to what's described in the next paragraph. Unless the parties agree otherwise in writing, the cost of any mediation both parties agree to pursue is shared equally between them.

Available legal remedies. If a dispute isn't resolved through direct contact or mediation, either party may pursue any legal remedy available to it in the courts of the State of California, including, where applicable, bringing an individual claim in small claims court, or seeking injunctive relief to protect intellectual property or confidentiality rights.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply to bookings made after the update date. Existing bookings are governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
